He did his undergraduate work at Northeastern University and received his dental degree in 1983 from The Medical College of Viriginia.

He is a member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Dental Association, The Massachusetts Dental Association, and The Cape Cod Dental Society.
